I recently stayed at Romer House Waikiki and was pretty surprised by the experience. The location near the beach is unbeatable and really convenient for exploring Waikiki. While the amenities like beach towels and chairs were nice, the hotel could definitely use some renovations and maintenance, particularly regarding noise insulation and the effectiveness of the air conditioning.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, which I appreciated, but it lacked soundproofing from outside noise. The air conditioning was also a little concerning since it didn't do the best job in the living room area, leading to some discomfort. Overall, the bedroom itself was comfortable though.
Service
9.0
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and they were really helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was a breeze, and I even got a complimentary drink voucher for the attached bar, which was a nice touch.
Location

You seriously can't beat the location! It's just a short walk to Waikiki Beach and close to tons of dining options. Plus, being right near the International Marketplace was super convenient for shopping.
Dining
6.0
The dining options at the hotel were okay, but nothing lovely. The bar area was fun, but I think there are way better choices in the area.
Facilities
7.0
While the amenities like beach chairs and a business center were helpful, the place definitely needs some upgrades. The elevators were efficient, though, which was a plus. Just know there are additional fees like the resort fee that might catch you off guard.

I had a mixed experience at Romer House Waikiki. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the International Marketplace and Waikiki Beach. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in felt outdated and not as clean as I had hoped, with some issues such as unvacuumed floors and a funky smell to the towels. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the service could be inconsistent, leaving me with a bittersweet impression. 🌺

My stay at Romer House Waikiki had its ups and downs. The location was perfect—just a short 10-15 minute walk to the beach and nearby attractions (I loved being close to the International Marketplace!). However, the air conditioning was not very effective, and I struggled with a warm room during my stay. Overall, I feel the place is good for a budget-friendly visit but comes with some cons.
